The solid foundation for that success is down to our people. Since the company was founded in 1993 by Kit Walker and Kenneth Dyer, we’ve continued to build on their excellent credentials. We’ve done that by carefully selecting the people who work in our close-knit team. Each brings their own unique qualities – only the commitment to excellence is standard.
The depth of quality is evident in every Treetops project from the very outset. We work with neighbours to minimise any disruption during construction. We keep the cleanest, safest sites in the country. That helps us attract the finest tradesmen and suppliers.

Award winning approach
Winning recognition for your work is always pleasing. So we’ve been delighted over the years to win recognition from our industry peers in the shape of various awards. None are more coveted than the Pride in the Job awards run by the National House Building Council – and we’ve picked up three.
The reason they are so sought after is because they are totally credible. The NHBC is a highly-respected house building watchdog. Established 70 years ago, it represents mortgage lenders, professional bodies and consumers groups who are dedicated to improving standards.
In other words you can’t collect a Pride in the Job award simply for turning up at an industry bun fight. In fact, we collected awards in 2000, 2005, 2006 and 2007 for unstinting dedication to quality, tireless attention to detail and unfaltering use of best materials and craftsmen.
Here’s an idea of the competition - last year the NHBC inspected 180,000 new homes and assessed the work of 18,000 site managers on their technical ability, professional knowledge leadership qualities and motivational skills. Only the most outstanding 400 across the UK were chosen to collect Pride In The Job Quality Awards. We were among them.
