When we unveiled plans for a 79-apartment development it caused many a raised eyebrow. However, the result was an award-winning development lauded by the construction industry. More than that, we created a genuine landmark – a unique blend of modern design and traditional materials which stood out dramatically. Details included copper roofing and extensive use of lead complemented by unusual exterior blue glaze brick panels.

The longer term results were even more breathtaking. The creation of these high-quality homes sparked a rejuvenation of the entire area which has seen neighbouring BAe Systems totally modernise its site, and attractive new office blocks spring up.
